Version: 1.0.0_devel (using KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1495) OS: Darwin (Power Macintosh) release 7.5.0 The most useful way to use ELOG in KST is probably manually. I mean being able to hit a ELOG button that would open a "Elog Event Entry" dialog that would allow us to fill the ELOG fields, attach PNG and KST files and send a request to the elog server. To be able to configure the kst/elog connection, a "Elog Configuration" dialog has to be available outside the Event Monitoring dialog (probably in the Settings menu). In this scheme ELOG is really an extension and does not interfere with any KST native dialog.
I believe that this can be done already, from the File... Add ELOG Entry... menu item. Let me know if this is not what you wanted, and if not then you'll need to describe further why not. Make sure the ELOG is running and configured in Kst first.
I don't have "Add Elog Entry" in the File menu even with the elog server running. I can see that KST is aware that elogd is running because I can configure it in the EVENTS dialog
Make sure ELOG is enabled by going to Settings... Extensions..., ensure that the ELOG entry is checked, and then hit OK. Then the File... Add ELOG Entry... menu item should appear. Let me know if not.
Fixed: .rc file was not being installed
