Description Thefrog 2004-08-28 23:42:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: default gnu 3.x on SuSE 8.2
OS: Linux

Executing a command in konsole, normally the prompt reappears after finishing a command, e.g:

eismeer:> gunzip xxx.zip
eismeer:>

This seems not to work fine anymore. For example, after command execution the line in console remains as it is, so the user has no feedback that the command has finished, eg:

eismeer:> gunzip xxx.zip

Typing <anykey> brings back the missing line:

eismeer:>

This does not appears always, but often, and is really anoying.
My system is SuSe 8.2 upgraded to the actual SuSE kde 3.3.0 packages.

Not reproducable on my PC. It only happens on my notebook.
Strange but maybe not a bug of KDE.
