You can import feeds from other sources, and you can add feeds manually, but you don't have the option of saving them or of exporting them to use with a future version.

I added export functionality. I had some problems to get the akregator_part.rc file updated (in KDEHOME/share/apps/akregator). So try to copy the file manually if File->Export Feeds doesn't show up.
There are still some things which could be improved, like KIO support instead of QFile.
