Description Matthew Truch 2004-08-26 23:08:59 UTC
Version: 1.0.0_devel (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
OS: Linux

When in datamode, the marker on the curve and the text field do not always correspond.

How to reproduce: On a curve with many points, enter data mode, and move the mouse around the curve quickly. The marker on the curve will follow the cursor, but the text in the status bar will not update as often. This is much more noticable under higher cpu load.

Expected behavior: The text and visual marker are synchronized such that both will change simultaneously.

Even if we kept the two in synch it would be impossible to read the curve position as it would be changing too quickly.
