Description Bernhard Herzog 2004-08-20 20:28:26 UTC
Version: CVS KDE_3_3_BRANCH (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

Kontact has one config dialog of its own reachable via Settings->Configure Kontact. Each of the components, kmail, korganizer, etc. has it's own dialog reachable via Settings->Configure KMail, for instance. This is redundant because the dialogs for the components have nothing that isn't already covered by the kontact config dialog.

Is this a wontfix? Alternatively one could get rid of the menu-entries "Kmail settings" and just have "Kontact settings" jumping to the component it was called from.

Wontfix for KDE 3.5 - we'll address this in KDE 4
