Description Marcel Partap 2004-08-19 23:09:18 UTC
Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.2, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031218 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r5, propolice-3.3-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.7-gentoo-r7

i.e. select a konqui instance and select "bring to front" (which i need now because i don't know which one of the 20 instances is sucking my cpu time away), maximize etc.
Probably a column 'window title' would also help...

Where is the patch?

Ciao,
Tobias

I'm so sorry. I know it's lame just bugging all the devs 'you should do this should do that' but I have not coded for KDE yet and do not have time to learn it right now. but I still think some ideas I get might be useful, so I submit 'em.

With the changes in KDE 4 ksysguard, this should now be possible. I have added enough information so that we can get the window ID etc using the XRES extension.

Sorry for the long delay in addressing your wish request, but it has required many things to come together first.

better late than never.. looking forward to the new KDE.. it might rock the desktop :)

SVN commit 742715 by aseigo:

* allow pulling up of window associated with entry, if any
* fix location of context menu
* sort the context menu a bit so that the kill action, being potentiall destructive, is at the bottom with a separator

This is now pretty much all implemented.
