I'm so sorry. I know it's lame just bugging all the devs 'you should do this should do that' but I have not coded for KDE yet and do not have time to learn it right now. but I still think some ideas I get might be useful, so I submit 'em.
With the changes in KDE 4 ksysguard, this should now be possible. I have added enough information so that we can get the window ID etc using the XRES extension. Sorry for the long delay in addressing your wish request, but it has required many things to come together first.
better late than never.. looking forward to the new KDE.. it might rock the desktop :)
