Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.4-52-smp I'm trying to install software with the commands: ./configure make make install But after the ./configure command I get this error message: Error: C Compiler cannot create executables. I can't get anything installed because of that. I've tried everything else I know and nothing works. I've already properly CHMODed the configuration file and the error still shows up.
Not a Konsole bug, please use a mailinglist to get help with your C compiler.
Well, if its not a konsole error, do you think you can help me with whatever the error is related to?
I would google (www.google.com) for further help. Also, it appears you are using SuSE; try their website (www.suse.com). http://www.suse.com/us/private/support/index.html http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=suse+Compiler+cannot+create+executables&btnG=Google+Search please do not reopen this bug report.
