Description Wilbert Berendsen 2004-08-18 21:52:24 UTC
Version: 1.4 (using KDE 3.3.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-gentoo

To reproduce:

- open a konsole session with a (tinted) transparent background
- switch on the autohide feature of the tabbar so it's hidden
- open a new session (background type does not matter)
- close the new session
- the tabbar hides again, but (BUG:) the background is not drawn anymore at all. Only reselecting the selected scheme in the settings menu redraws the background correctly.

Additionally, when opening a new konsole session (with any background, using the tabbar autohide feature) the display of the existing session is completely garbled, as if it is resized to a very small size and then back to the normal size.

my bug report with id 93626 seems to be the same problem
Comment 3 Kurt Hindenburg 2005-04-07 06:54:39 UTC
This works for me using CVS/HEAD. I'll try KDE 3.4.
Comment 4 Wilbert Berendsen 2005-04-07 08:07:40 UTC
Yes, both problems look like they've been fixed in 3.4
