Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux When I exit umbrello with the UML model attached to this bug (I hope I will get the chance to attach it for reproduction during the wizard?), umbrello crashes.

I can't reproduce the crash with your report. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean there is no such bug. It just means I can't reproduce this testcase. Sorry!
Here are some additional informations about my system in case someone is interested in resolving the problem: SuSE 9.1, installed from web KDE 3.2.1 kernel 2.6.4-54.5 running on an IBM Thinkpad T22

This update included mostly packages versioned with "3.3.0". After the update, umbrello still shows the crash behavior when exiting, see the attached backtrace.

I think the reason we can't reproduce this is the following commit on cvs HEAD of a few days ago (newer than 3.3.0) CVS commit by okellogg: > UMLObject::resolveTypes(): New. Generalizes the type resolution methods > [...] > Temporarily comment various calls to deleteLater() because of crashes. Those deleteLater calls were the cause of many a crash in umbrello. There still are memory management issues to be resolved but at least we don't crash right now.
