good to know that you are still there. my magic genie told me that you had abandoned ship. couple of questions: a) what is the full path to the folder to which you are trying to download the file? b) the version against which you are reporting the problem is two versions old. the last released version was 0.6.2 and we will have a beta release for 0.7 this weekend. try any of the two and let me know if the problem persists.

This bug still remain digikam version 0.7, compiled gcc 3.3.5, operating system linux, debian testing. I can download thumbnails from camera, but when I try download first picture following error box appear "Failed to download file P1010001.JPG" But if I try directly from command line "gphoto2 --port "/dev/ttyS0" --camera="Olympus C-800L" -p P1010001.JPG" Download is succesfull.
what is the full path to the folder to which you are trying to download the file?
Download directory is in my home directory /home/hannu/Pictures/olympus
i have the same problem with version 0.82 and previous versions too. ron
