A list of make variables is displayed in paragraph "10.5.3 Automatic Variables" (under "Here is a table of automatic variables:")

Konqueror doesn't display the variable names ($@, $%, etc) on the left-hand side, although it does display them as part of the description. The only apparent difference is the tag wrapping:
<code>$@</code> - not shown
<samp>$@</samp> - shown

Testcase

This is a minimal testcase showing that the term ( <DT> ) is not rendered when
using a Definition List ( <DL> ) in Compact mode.

I forgot to mention that the supplied testcase works nicely when the <p> tag is properly closed. The HTML code on this GNU webpage isn't top quality, they should be ashamed of themselves. :) But still, Konqueror should render it properly.
