Description John Morris 2004-07-31 23:55:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.92)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc-3.4.0
OS: Linux

This bug came up in KDE 3.2, bug number 71825, and it was resolved.
It has re-appeared in KDE 3.3 beta2.

If I run mplayer (in XV or OpenGL mode) at fullscreen, the kicker panel is still on top.

I think that's fixed by now
Comment 2 Lubos Lunak 2004-08-03 11:21:51 UTC
No, by it's fixed by now.
Comment 3 Nick Matteo 2004-12-11 05:50:57 UTC
This problem reappeared for me in 3.3.2. Fullscreen Mplayer and Xawtv are under the panel, even when set to always on top (which was my fix for this behaviour before.)

Both work fine for me. Please attach xprop output for both of the windows, when they're fullscreened.

child panel xprop output
Comment 7 Nick Matteo 2005-10-30 09:51:02 UTC
Hello,
I did not have this problem since my lst comment (possibly because I changed my panel setup), however it is reappeared in KDE 3.4.3. Attached is the xprop output for KDEtv, which when fullscreen or when "Always on top" is still covered by the child panel, and for the child panel.
