Description Saso Span 2004-07-30 14:21:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.92)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I use the sl_SI locale for my country and if I want too see our special signs I have to launch konsole with LANG="sl_SI" konsole (also with other terminals). Note, that I don't want the whole system to be slovenian. I get the error "KDEInit could not launch '/bin/sh'" after I close the konsole. When it's open I see all signs but the panel is frozen. I gave the user all permissions on /bin/sh but it remains the same.
Even if I enable keyboard layouts in Control center and choose slovenian it still gives the same error. I have no problems elsewhere.

Add the following line to the modified konsole .desktop file:
 X-DCOP-ServiceName=konsole

Or, if you launch konsole from the panel, set "DCOP Registration" to "None" under "Advanced Options" in the "Application" tab in the properties of the konsole button.
