Firstly, use control-alt-d to show desktop
Then, switch to another virtual desktop

Expected: The new virtual desktop is chosen
Actual: The same desktop is returned to

This much has been reproduced via #kde

My system does something else - the desktop inherits some Gnome features. e.g. icons, right-click menu, etc. The other desktops keep the correct behaviour, it is just the one being switched from.
