Description jakubpol 2004-07-17 16:17:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.91)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc-3.3.2
OS: Linux

I'm not quite sure if it's a bug or a wish that I'd like to report.

I've got a usability problem with the kmenu and the desktop. Consider two scenarios:
1) I open the kmenu, then left-click somewhere on the desktop, and the kmenu disappears (which is what I'd expect).
2) I open the kmenu, then drag some entry to the desktop, choose "copy here", left-click somewhere on the desktop to deactivate kmenu and ... it doesn't work like in 1) (ie. kmenu doesn't go away). I have to click on "show desktop" to get rid of it.

Wouldn't it be more intuitive to have kmenu disapear in 2) when clicking on desktop?
