Version: 0.99devel (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: RedHat RPMs OS: Linux The progress bar at the end of the data wizard never shows a value above 50%. How to reproduce: open new kst; click on data wizard; load some data; click finish. The progress bar window will pop up, and the bar will go from 0-50%, and at 50% it will be done. Expected behavior: The progress bar will use 100% to indicate completion.
I believe this was fixed by Andrew already.
Actually, now the progress dialog only pops up for a slit second (displaying 100% complete, I think), right before displaying the plots. This is true even if you have kst plot alot of data (so it takes a long time for the plots to display).
I don't see that behaviour, but I'll leave it open for now.
I agree with Matt on the behaviour. My changes here did not claim to fix the described problem, only to make the progress bar (when you can see it) smoother by not moving it forward for each data vector within a data source, but only for each data vector that is being plotted.
Moved the progress indicator to the status bar .
