Version: 0.8.3 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3) Installed from: Conectiva RPMs OS: Linux I sometimes see the "Unhandled MSN error code 715" message. I don't know the exact translation, as I use it in pt_BR. The original text is: "Código de erro MSN não tratado: 715. or favor, preencha um relatório de erros com a descrição detalhada e se possível a última saída de depuração do console." I've seen that the 715 problem is fixed, on another ticket, but I also would like that the protocol error messages were less intrusive. While kopete is showing the message, I can't use any other kopete window, and even the "show/ignore message" "baloon" window doesn't respond.
I would like to add a "Don't show again" checkbox. but the KMessageBox API doesn't allow to do this on queued message box.
Ho yes, I hate this bug too! And I would also love to have the queued message box...

Fixed in SVN r612769
This bug is back on KDE 4.1.1. I just got a modal dialog with the following text: "Unhandled MSN error code 712 Please file a bug report with a detailed description and, if possible, the last console debug output." Using Kopete version 0.60.1, KDE 4.1.1, from Fedora 9 updates-testing packages. The changes added on svn revision 612769 are not present on current svn trunk.
I'm seeing the exact same message as Eduardo, but using Kopete 0.60.2 and KDE 4.1.2 in Kubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid)
Closing this bug as the MSN protocol will be dropped. It is replaced by the WLM protocol. If this bug is still valid please open it against the WLM protocol
