Since I can drag a contact onto another metacontact and delete the old empty metacontact, why can't I drag a contact onto a group and create a new single-contact metacontact?  That's the way it should be.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
