Description Fabricio Machado 2004-07-05 17:29:00 UTC
Version: 3.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

I'm trying to access the URL some interenet banking sites (eg. internetcaixa.caixa.gov.br) via squid proxy with authentication and konqueror is trying to load the https applet directly. It must be done via my https proxy, but I got some denied packets in my firewall sent directly to 443 destionations's port.

Are we talking about a java applet? The rest of the page is loaded correctly via the proxy?
Comment 2 Fabricio Machado 2004-07-31 03:23:05 UTC
Yes Waldo, the problem is only the java applet.
For example, Mozilla asks my proxy username/password again when it loads the applet. It´s boring, but works.
Thanks for your comment.

Did you try the 'Use KIO' option? (make sure though that the JVM restarts after you set this option, eg. close all windows that have java applets and wait until the java process exits)

Any chance you will comment on the 'Use KIO' option?
