Description Jonas Bähr 2004-06-28 16:10:06 UTC
Version: save- / copy- / move- / delete-dialog (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

It would be really usefull if one could perform file-operations like save, copy, move, delete as a different user.
Example: I'm downloading a file but my user has no write-rights for the destination the file should be save to.
I currently have to save the file to ~/tmp/foo and them move it as root to the real destination. It would be nice if I could already set the different user in the save-dialog.
An other appreach would be that the dialog "access denied" had a button "retry as different user"
