Version:           0.7.7 (using KDE 3.2.3,  (testing/unstable))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040422)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.7

On some messages, KNode will crash and take down X while it started displaying the message. In a flash, the first page of the message is shown, then X goes down. It seems to be related to large messages, but i'm not sure.

Reproduce:

The following message reproduces the behaviour for me:
On the 'news.gmane.org' newsserver, in the 'gmane.linux.kernel' group, on 23-06-2004, 7:43, mcgrof at studorgs.rutgers.edu wrote a message named '[PATCH 2.4.26] prism54: add prism54 1.2'. This is a 7463 line message.

I cannot reproduce it here. If you have any more information that could help me reproduce this bug, please reopen this ticket.
