Description Nicolas Brisset 2004-06-23 17:43:08 UTC
Version: 0.98-devel (using KDE 3.2.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2
OS: SunOS (sun4u) release 5.8

When using the label mode, click&drag a label: the label at the initial position is cleared only after the mouse button has been released, and during the movement the label leaves a visible 'trace' that can sometimes make it difficult to position it.

With the current label model (labels as being parts of plots) erasing
the label on start of drag will add an excessive delay for plots with
many points. This will be naturally fixed if floating labels become view
objects.

Ok so this is already "fixed" but we haven't activated it yet. I will close as "later" since it won't be fixed until the view object labels are activated, which is the plan one day.
