Description Markus Raab 2004-05-30 11:39:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

When you start konsole (in my case with many tabs) in the root mode
(means in Profile: Args0=/bin/bash,-c,/bin/su)
and you want to kill a Prozess in Status:
D uninterruptible sleep (usually IO)
with Strg+C then the whole konsole-apps (all Tabs) crashes.

In my case this happens very often, because every find, rsync, du... causes
a uninterruptible sleep for a short time. E.g. when i mistype an ls in a
directory with many files and i dont want to wait to list them i press strg+c
then the console crashes..

Likely fixed in 3.2.2, can you upgrade?

Assuming it's fixed without answer.
