Description pierre 2004-05-26 16:28:38 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

It would be fine to see included in KOffice a nice macro system, like the microsoft's VBA in Office, but with the Javascript language (because it's nicer as basic)
It could for instance use KJSEmbed... And with a good editor and a macro recorder (but the last is a dream ;) ) it would be a very cool feature !!!

Hum, I saw what I was looking for on kde-apps : http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=18638
Could it be integrated in KOffice ?

KOffice applications now use (or can use) with a little effort Kross to implement scripting plugins. Unfortunately, most scripting plugins have bitrotted recently and aren't very useful anymore :-(

Thank you for your bug report or feature suggestion.

The "KOffice" application suite is no longer maintained, and all tickets are now closed.

We recommend to switch to the "Calligra" application suite, which has replacements for all unmaintained KOffice applications:

- KWord was replaced with Calligra Words
- KPlato was replaced with Calligra Plan

For more information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calligra_Suite
