Description Wilbert Berendsen 2004-05-25 09:43:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

It would be very nice if one could easily switch from one sound scheme (theme) to another.

This could be done quite simply:
- define names for all standard sounds (startup, etc.), these can be i18n-ized
- make the notifications module use the standard names (in a dropdown) instead of entering filenames (as is now)
- make a separate sound theme editor where one can assign sounds to the standard sound names, or switch scheme at once (like the color schemes)
- all this could be integrated in a general theme manager.

(maybe i'll create a patch myself but i am currently just learning c++ and Qt :-)
