When I want to reply to a message on an IMAP server then kmail first downloads the attachments before opening the reply window. I see absolutely no need to do so as there is no dependency between the attachments and the reply.

This partly renders the great new feature useless which allows you to read IMAP messages *without* downloading the attachments.
