Version: 0.14 (using KDE 3.2.90 (CVS >= 20040117), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB When the indicator lights on the channel/msg tabs start flashing (when there is activity), they are not very clear. Can they be made clearer? Maybe use black as the OFF colour when they are flashing and/or change the text on the tab (colour, italic, bold, etc.). Many thanks.

The latest version of Konversation (0.16) has reduced the contrast of the flashing lights even further; on a regular channel, the activity lights _used_ to flash #0f9d00 and #15df00 by default (near as kcolorchooser can pick 'em off the screen). Those are a dark green and a considerably lighter green. Now, we get #2A8822 and #42C829, and the contrast there seems much less.

I guess it's just something I've used to with xchat but it would be nice if the indicator could only be the font color change in the channel name. Current solution only makes a tab wider.
I also think that with the indicator lights it must be possible to distinguish between different activities. The flashes are always the same, either if there are nickchanges or joins/parts in a channel or if there is really something spoken.
I would like the indicator lights to change colour, depending on activity. Eg green for something spoken, red for a highlighted message and dark blue/marroon for nickchanges, join/parts ,etc. I personally don't use the flashing feature, as I find it distracting.
StevenR: Good idea.
Current svn has a new LED feature. Try it out and reopen this bug if it is not what you need.
