Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.2 20031218 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r5, propolice-3.3-7) OS: Linux I'm using Plastik theme. I know menu list is supposed to follow "Window Background" color. But when I select "Make Translucent" option in "Appearance & Themes - Style - Effects - Menu effect", it works wrong way. Instead of "Window Background" color, it seems like following "Button Background" color at this time. Therefore with the default Plastik color scheme, I see gray-colored menu lists. If I was right, it should be pure white colored with some transparency.
Fixed in Plastik for the Software-/XRender-Blend modes. No idea how to override the KStyle default for the "Software Tint" mode. At least in Keramik (and a few other styles I checked) there seems to be the same "bug" that translucent menus have a different background color than normal ones.
Do you mean it looks correctly in the Software & XRender Blend modes? I'm using XRender Blend mode and it still works wrong way. And I've tested all three modes and they seem to have same bugs.
You have tested Plastik from CVS 2004-05-10, right?
No. I'm using KDE 3.2.2 packages from Gentoo Linux.
Fixed in KDE 3.2.3. Thanks.
