Version: 1.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-202-athlon Hi, When editting a document in e.g. kwrite, the caption of the application gets the string "[gewijzigd]". Kicker notices this string and puts a diskette icon next to the application icon in the task bar. (In English, [gewijzigd] would be [modified]) This webpage: http://forum.computertotaal.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=119270 uses the string [gewijzigd]in its title, so it is also present in the caption of the Konqueror window. Kicker responds by putting a diskette icon next to the Konqueror-icon. Which is of course wrong, since there are no changes to save in the webpage :o) Rinse
The way we get the modified status is a hack. This needs window manager support.
I only use xinerama for a couple of weeks now, but I miss this feature a lot. I try to use the mouse as little as possible so a shortcut to move a window to another screen (like 'move window to the screen (right, left, above, below)' would be really helpful. Right now I am using 'pack window to the left/right' to move a window to the left/right screen. This works fine but it's tedious and it does not support moving maximized windows (I'd like to be able to move maximized windows as well). I'm using KDE 3.4.3 atm.
Kicker does not exist any more and the replacement does not show the modified icon -> WORKSFORME
