For 
http://www.diepunyhumans.com/index.rdf 
I only get "+++ ICON +++ ICON +++"
I works with all other feeds, so it may be an issue of the feed itself, but it validates OK with 
http://www.feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.diepunyhumans.com%2Findex.rdf

I retried today with KDE 3.3.0 and knewsticker v0.2 - the bug is still there.

Would the real coder please stand up?

Can anybody reproduce this with the rss feed I specified?

The reason you see no titles is that there are no titles specified in the RSS file. You can open it with a text editor and see that there are no values for the <title> tag, it's always only <title></title>.
