Description Ranma 2004-04-29 15:55:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: Gcc 3.3.3
OS: Linux

Way to reproduce:
1. open google in konqueror and search this: "risc schematics" without the quotes.

2. there are a lot of matches that are PDF's, open two of them in new tabs. When konqueror ask's what to do, click on open.
(you need to have tabbed browsing enabled and open PDF's in the embedded browser by default)

3. Now you have 3 tabs open, google and two PDF's, close one of the tabs with a PDF, now go to the other tab with PDF and scroll to the next page.

4. Now konqueror crahes for me.

Sorry, I can't generate a backtrace, but if it can't be reproducted I can recompile with frame pointers and send a backtrace.

Cannot reproduce. Which pdf viewer do you use?

My settings on PDF's embedding tab is like this:

Left click action: Show file in embedded viewer

Services Preference Order:
KPDFPart (kpdf_part)
KGhostView (kghostview)

I think it's the default, if I move kghostview up, it works fine, so maybe its a problem with kpdf.
