Description Ra 2004-04-28 20:48:24 UTC
Version: 1.6.2 (using KDE 3.2.2, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040401)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.23

I have one filter defined... after hitting Ctrl-J to apply the filters to my inbox (imap), I go to a virtual (search) folder based on that inbox and kontact/kmail crashes with a SIGSEGV
It is repeatable....

these are the messages from my .xsession-errors:

kmail: WARNING: KMMessagePart::bodyDecoded(): body is binary but used as text!
cant truncate line
cant truncate line
cant truncate line
cant truncate line
cant truncate line
cant truncate line
kmail: WARNING: KMMessagePart::bodyDecoded(): body is binary but used as text!
*** KMail got signal 11 (Crashing)
KCrash: Application 'kontact' crashing...

and this is the backtrack:

Can you send me the filter definition and the folder content (or only some messages triggering the crash) in a compressed format? I would like to check the problem to find out if the crashes do occur in the development version too.

Not reproducible and no further response from the reporter.
