You're right, it's not possible. At least not yet. I would very much like to be able to add this, but meta info about a mark requires mark "identity". Currently, there is no way to know, through the KTE interfaces, that "this bookmark" is in fact "that bookmark".
I second that, being able to: name, comment, categorize and search source code bookmarks, would come in extremely handy.
There are other very effective ways of navigating in your code. Consult the Technotes on the kdevelop website.
