Version:           3.0.2 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from:    SuSE
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB-athlon

Every time I start KDevelop (3.0.2) the internal console is broken, because it shows only 15 characters in the length. then comes a "line wrapping" and the following characters begin at position 0. all commands don't work.

workaround: Change in the contextmenu -> Settings -> Font to any other font. The the command line is shown perfectly.

Hint: This never happens in the stand-alone application "konsole".

I couldn't reproduce this bug with KDE 3.3 and KDevelop 3.1. However, I'll leave it to somebody else to close this bug.

Yes, this works fine here too. KDevelop 3.1.

I think the problem is your instalation. Try to compile it from source.
