Description David Sansome 2004-04-17 02:25:59 UTC
Version:           3.0.1 (using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-4mdk

To reproduce:
 * Open a QMake project
 * Open another type of project, or even reload the QMake one
 * Notice "Build project" and similar icons disappear from the build toolbar

Do it again and even more icons disappear :)

This doesn't seem to happen with other project types
Comment 1 Jens Dagerbo 2004-04-17 03:18:13 UTC
It also happens with CustomProject, but I can't reproduce it with AutoProject.

The actions are always created, and they always exist in the Build menu, but the icons are not put into the toolbar for some reason.
Comment 2 Jens Dagerbo 2004-04-17 04:15:33 UTC
Crossref bug #72359, bug #73771, bug #76492.

Is it just me, or is something quite likely broken somewhere around here? :)
Comment 3 Matt Rogers 2004-12-12 05:38:51 UTC
I can't reproduce this with KDevelop 3.1.90 (KDevelop 3.2 Alpha 1). Please reopen if you can still reproduce after upgrading to at least KDevelop 3.1.0 or greater.
Comment 4 Andreas Koepfle 2005-01-20 18:34:27 UTC
I still have this problem with KDevelop 3.1.91 (beta 1) on KDE 3.3.2.
Comment 5 Alexander Dymo 2005-01-20 21:05:19 UTC
Please try to remove $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kdevtrollproject/kdevtrollproject.rc file and see what happens.
Comment 6 Andreas Koepfle 2005-01-25 19:10:13 UTC
Yes, thanks, removing $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kdevtrollproject/kdevtrollproject.rc solved the problem.

Maybe this could be done automatically? I guess a lot of qmake project users would love to see this annoying bug go away after the update to KDE 3.4 :)
