Description Yan Morin 2004-04-16 02:46:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

Scenario:
1. Select "America/Montreal" in time_zone option list
2. Click on configure clock
3. Check display "date"
4. Click on apply.

Should see the date and not "Montreal".

My time it's ok now with KDE 3.3
Comment 2 Nick Matteo 2005-04-04 15:11:09 UTC
I have this same error in KDE 3.4. In all clock types, and with trying toggling all the settings, I cannot get the date to display, even though it's turned on in all clock types. Instead, the timezone "New York" is always where the date should be.
Comment 3 Jimmy Kloss 2005-04-06 11:42:45 UTC
Same here with KDE 3.4 on Gentoo. Instead of the date I get the Name of the timezone (Berlin if you care ;-) So please reopen this bug.
BTW: Is it possible, that quite some "old" bugs show up in 3.4 again?
How is this possible? Maybe a problem with the development scheme?
Don't get me wrong I'am not flaming, just wondering ;-)
Comment 4 Nick Matteo 2005-04-07 23:46:00 UTC
Oh yes, my time zone is New York, if it's relevant.
