Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Kompare 2 files both across sftp to another box. Applied some of the indicated changes. Save, (or Save All). Exit program. File is not modified.
Please provide some additional information because this is really not enough for me to fix the problem. Do you get a warning that Kompare cant save the file or so ? or anything else that states that it does not work ? Can you run kompare in a konsole window and paste all the output it gives into a file and then attach the file to the bugreport ? Make sure there is no confidential information in the file (like sourcecode that cant be made public), if there is send it to me personally (bruggie at bruggie dot net) and i'll make sure it does not get public.
