Description Cliff-s 2004-04-07 19:21:58 UTC
Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

To reproduce bug; start Konsole, Highlight
any text with mouse, right click copy, then paste. The first time
you get nothing with paste. Do the operation over
again and works fine. The problem is only on the first copy(paste)
when Konsole is started.

This started with ver. 3.2 of KDE.

Works here.
Comment 2 Cliff-s 2004-04-08 18:29:17 UTC
After checking other bugs this maybe the same bug reported
in 75429, 58833, 74487. It might actually be Klipper that is the
culprit.
Comment 3 Stephan Binner 2004-04-30 20:06:46 UTC
So did you quit Klipper and tried to reproduce the bug without it running?
Comment 4 Cliff-s 2004-05-12 23:39:45 UTC
Didn't make any difference. Another clue is the highlight disappears
when you shift from left mouse button to right mouse button to copy. The
second time you do this it works properly. Still broken in 3.2.2.

Works fine here with KDE3.4beta2. You'll have to give more info about how to reproduce. Does it happen when you start Konsole yourself and/or when Konsole started by the session manager (when you login to KDE)?
Trying a newer version would also be helpful.

Reopen if you can reproduce on 3.4.x or later
