Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Hi, (I'm sure this must be a duplicate, but I can't find it) Subject says it all... Currently, reading mailing lists from both home and office is a pain when I read something like 10% of the messages and have the rest in threads I ignore - I need to duplicate a lot of work. (Or is that already implemented but my IMAP server does not support it? I use dovecot.) thanks & greets -- vbi

Roman Odaisky tells me that $IGNORED is a server-side flag, confirming the feature-of-the-imap-server theory. Can anybody confirm? Which IMAP servers are known to work with kmail for this feature? If this is indeed a server-side problem, I guess this bug can be closed.)
See http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130773 for the aforementioned comment.
It suddenly started working because we recently implemented it. ;) Will be in 3.5. 9 and 4.1. Closing.
