Description Jonathan Solomon 2004-03-27 18:46:47 UTC
Version: 3.0.2 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.3.3
OS: Linux

I wished to assign the Alt-numpad 1 key combination to Debug|Continue. When I tried to do this, I was told it was already assigned to "Compile File" and asked if I wanted to continue. I answered in the affirmative but the new alternative key combination was not added (was left blank). I tried this both with and without the Num-lock on; It appeared to make no difference.

If Alt-numpad 1 is not a valid shortcut combo then it shouldn't cause the unassignment. If it is, it isn't working.

Not a KDevelop issue. This behaviour is in all KDE apps.

Not sure if this is a bug, but I guess you have a point that you shouldn't be able to erase an existing shortcut with a blank one.

Sounds like a KAccel issue.
