Description Ernst de Haan 2004-03-25 08:32:11 UTC
Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 4.9-STABLE

Here are the steps to reproduce:

1. Start KMail
2. Select 'New Message' (Ctrl-N)
3. Select 'Attach' -> 'Attach File...'
4. Select any file in the file chooser dialog and confirm
5. Click right mouse button on attachment
6 [details]. Click on 'Properties'
7. Close 'Properties' dialog

Expected behaviour:
- Message window has focus

Actual behaviour:
- KMail main window has focus

Confirmed with the development version of KMail running within Kontact. KMail stand alone does not have this problem.
This 'putting a window behind the main window within kontact when a third dialog is opened' does also happen with selecting a different pgp key in the settings, reported elsewhere. Maybe this info helps.

No longer reproducible on trunk r881868.

Marking RESOLVED/FIXED, as this is indeed fixed, I can confirm that. I checked KMail 1.11.2 (on KDE 4.2.2, on Kubuntu 9.04)
