Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 3.3.1 OS: Linux Hello, everyone I have a CSV file in my home directory. Each time I hover my mouse over it an Import dialog appears. I have View->Preview->Show Previews OFF in Konqueror's menu. I don't know what application wants to import this file or why. I'm assuming probably the Address Book, which I didn't install anyway. Or maybe KSpread (KOffice 1.3)? I tried to investigate more, but the dialog suddenly dissappears no matter if I do anything or not (move the mouse over the dialog and then don't do anything for 5 seconds and see what I mean). The dialog does _not_ dissappear as long as I keep the mouse pointer over the CSV file. I also tried clicking OK but if I hover again over the file, the dialog reappears. If anyone can tell me how can I disable this popup window? It starts driving me nuts... (of course, I can delete the file :-) Thank you, Virgil

Created attachment 5387 [details] And this is the dialog This is the dialog that magically appears and the poof dissappears...
I unchecked Konqueror's Settings->Configure Konqueror->Behavior->Misc Options->Show previews in file tips. This didn't work. But when I unchecked "Show file tips", that stopped the dialog from appearing. Yeee...
KOffice 1.3 does not allow creating thumbnails of files needing a KOffice filter to do so. Have a nice day! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55657 ***
