Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, (testing/unstable)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-xfs When moving messages to a folder, in the dialog, the folder collapsed state should be remembered. As it is, on large groups of folders, it is nearly useless because the whole tree is expanded by default. It should: A.) All folders should be collapsed by default (arguable by some, I'm sure) B.) The dialog should remember which I wanted collapsed and expanded when I am in the same session, so when I move 20 different groups to 20 different folders/subfolders, I don't have to expand and collapse 20 different times/ways. C.) To get around this, you could have a drop-down list of the "last 5 folders messages were moved to" or "top 5 folders that messages were moved to"...like on the K Menu. Thank you.
"The dialog should remember which I wanted collapsed and expanded" Should be: "which FOLDERS I wanted"
I've tested this with the development version of KMail. I can confirm this behaviour, althoug it does remember the folder you last used to move your message to.
ok, just want to add that in general the collapsed/expanded state of groups in the folders should be remembered, as when changing back into a folder the previously opened groups are collapsed, which is quite unhandy.
