Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.2.0, (3.0)) Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-040305 It would be very nice if Cervisia would support SVN besides CVS.

You can check out eSVN.
eSVN is nice. But it is not the same as having native Subversion support as KDEpart.
the current (experimental) source code for the subversion support can be found in the KDE svn repository under branches/cervisia/subversion_support/.
What about kdesvn (http://www.alwins-world.de/programs/kdesvn/)?
Unfortunately, kdesvn is a standalone app too. At least, I don't see SVN mode in Konqueror, as I do with Cervisia.
kdesvn can be used in konqueror by changing the viewmode in the toolbar.
Come on, forget about kdesvn, esvn, whateversvn. Cervisia is not just some application providing some kpart, cervisia has also awesome interface! Try to find another as simple and as convenient and nice vcs program. I can think only of Tortoise* on windows.
As Christian already pointed out there is a development version of Cervisia. It's still not complete but it's ready for your every day work. We already have add, commit, remove, annotate, diff and log. As you probably all know how to compile from source give it a try.
Why not using kpart of kdesvn? I use it within konqueror and quanta. Or standalone. It works well and is solid.

To comment #9: "there is a development version of Cervisia" - is it possible to get it now without KDE4? I asked in #kde-devel and was told "development version" means KDE4, but KDE4 is simply not an option since it doesn't work yet. Still, I would really really love to get cervisia with SVN.

It's KDE3 and you can get it from svn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/cervisia/subversion_support/kdesdk/cervisia If you don't have a svn account it's anonsvn.kde.org.

Cervisia is the best VCS front end out there and I want cervisia. kdesvn doesn't remember last folder used; kdesvn has annoying coloring as on screenshot; it has two-level *huge* Subversion menu and nothing useful in File menu for easy access; it has ugly diff display; it crashed when I reverted a file! It may be a great program, I don't know; but I don't want to use it just because it's there even if it tries to have such a nice interface as cervisia's.
It will be very good to have full SVN support in konqueror. Currently I use the command-line tool or kdesvn but there are not as handy as some other tools under other operating systems (like TortoiseSVN). Also it will be good to have option in konqueror that allows you to copy directory and ignore some of its content (e.g. *.svn).
From what I know, there are some plans to integrate kdesvn to KDE 4.3. But, that's just a plan, and I'm not in charge of this.
On recent KDE revisions I've seen the SVN support integrated into dolphin.
Unfortunately there is no feature development in Cervisia happening anymore. If you develop with Subversion, I would recommend to use the kde svn client kdesvn (http://kdesvn.alwins-world.de/).
