Version: 3.0.2 (using KDE 3.2.1, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040217 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3, propolice-3.3-7) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.4-rc1-mm2 It appears that F7 will "Build Active Target" but there is no obvious way to create the target, and specify the source files that go into it, or specify which target you want to be active. For example if I have a number of source files common to several projects, I would like to be able to say project1 uses files a,b,c and project 2 uses files a,c,d. Right now you can specify files in the automake manager for only one project which is also the target. (as far as I can tell).
Please read the User Manual: http://docs.kde.org/en/HEAD/kdevelop/kdevelop/project-management.html
Thank you for your prompt response. I'm now changing my wish that this link in the user manual is in the kdevelop handbook. (Or if it's already there, that it was more visible!).
