Description Tom Gilligan 2004-03-14 05:57:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3.2
OS: Linux

A feature in JuK where the filenames of songs could automatically be stripped of Linux-only filename characters would be very useful for owners of FAT mp3 players. At the moment if filenames are automatically generated from their titles some songs in my collection contain ?, ", ' and : which my mp3 player refuses to have copied to it. If this feature is not to hard to implement perhaps it should be a check box in the current file renamer settings dialog?
