It would be nice if the Knode News Plugin and the KNewsTicker applet share the same configuration dialog because the KNewsTicker dialog already has a lot of rss sources defined, you only have to check them.

KNode doesn't suuport RSS feeds, it is a news (NNTP) client.
Is it possible that you are talking about the news plugin for Kontact's summary view? That doesn't belong to KNode...
