Description Vinay Khaitan 2004-03-13 10:37:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

There are many options in konqueror context menu, which depending upon user, are never used. For example, security. I am never bothered about that. So, is not it possible to have context menu configurable through context menu itself as is in bookmarks toolbar?
What I want is below:-------

This should be done with all application IMHO, but konqueror/web browser and konqueror/file manager is extrememly needed. We should be able to Right click upon any context menu entry. this right click menu would consist of options at least "New->submenu/menu item", "delete", "Configure","rename" . The Configure button would popup a window, which would consist of all items available to add in context menu and a default button to reset to default. There context menu entries would be customised(interface may be of keditbookmarks). "New" button would be quick tool to add any available action to add it in place. "delete" would delete that entry. "Rename" would rename the entry to your own liking. But this renaming would not go into available actions into configure.
User specifice settings would be stored in application specific configuration file.

In fact this should go in kdelibs. So that it is usable by every kde application. But right now, this should at least happen with konqueror.
