Description arne anka 2004-03-11 15:03:43 UTC
Version: 1.1.0 (using KDE 3.2.1, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.24

ksim does not show lm_sensors while using kernel 2.6. compiled lm_sensors 2.8.4 (libsensors.so.3) by myself, so sensors and ksensors work (ksensors basically, but is not really compatible with kde 3.2). i'm not able to figure out which part to patch.

I've had a couple of reports from people describing the same issue, however unfortunately the status of lm_sensors under 2.6 for my system hasn't been completed yet, so therefore lm_sensors doesn't work at all on my machine.

I have a vague idea about what is happening, but i cant work on it or test, its more of a hunch than an idea based off the current evidence.

If you happen to find out any information about this problem id be interested to hear from you.

Lm_sensors plugin in Ksim does not work in Fedora Core kde 3.2.2. I compiled ksim from sources (ksim 1.0.1a) and ksim sensors worked. So there is something wrong with this new panelextension ksim.

Closing as KSIM is unmaintained and its main developer is not reachable.
