Description Ot Ratsaphong 2004-03-09 16:44:02 UTC
Version: 3.2 (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.x
OS: Linux

The schedule times font does not appear to use any of the general fonts in the Configure Fonts panel. It looks inconsistent and would look better if the font was set to be the same as the other panels.

What do you mean by "schedule time"? Could you please attach a screenshot demonstrating the problem?

I'm quite new to Linux so I do not know how to do a screendump under KDE. If
you let me know how to create one, I will send it to you.

Background:
When I first logged in to KDE (as root), KDE fonts were "Luxi Sans", which I
found to be quite ugly. So I changed the default fonts to Arial. I happened
to have KOrganiser open at the time and noticed that most of the panels in
KOrganiser also too on the new font settings, except the times in the
appointments schedule panel.

If you have KOrganiser open and you configure the fonts in Control Module
and set the "General" fonts to "Italics" (for example), you will find that
all the fonts in KOrganiser will also become italics, except the Title Bar
(which is fair enough) and the Time field in the appointments schedule.

What I'm suggesting is that the Times in the appointment schedule also take
on the general font settings as defined by the user. This way whole user
interface will look more consistent.

Please let me know if you need more info.

Thanks,
Ot Ratsaphong

You can select korganizer's fonts for the agenda view in korganizer's setup
dialog. This way, you can either set them consistent with the rest of KDE, or
you can choose different fonts if you like smaller fonts in the agendar.

Font are configurable even in KDE4. I assume that this bug can be closed (the reporter didn't answer back four years ago.
